Related to the developments in Ukraine, we would like to express our position towards our strategic partner.

Nowadays, the way to maintain and develop Georgia’s independence passes through Ukraine.  We, together with Ukraine, have to go through a vital process for our countries, which is joining the European Union and NATO.

It is necessary for all of our country’s citizens to unite on the idea of protection of Ukraine and Georgia from Russian aggression.

I express my solidarity with my friend and colleague, Ambassador of Ukraine to Georgia Ihor Dolhov and the Ukrainian people. We are ready to join our voice in the idea of freedom and independence of the united Ukraine.
