Ann Davies arrived in Georgia in summer 2019 to take on the role of the Head of Country overseeing BP’s activities in Georgia including the Baku-Supsa and Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipelines and South Caucasus gas pipeline operations.
Ann has 15 years’ experience in the energy industry in a variety of engineering, operations and leadership roles. Prior to her appointment as a Head of Country Ann was Engineering Manager for BP’s offshore wells in Azerbaijan, and before that she worked in BP head office in London supporting the Upstream Chief Financial Officer. The career path has also taken Ann to Scotland, Norway and Canada where she worked as a lead engineer and a project manager for a variety of large engineering projects.
Ann holds a master’s degree in Physics from University of Oxford. She is a passionate advocate for physics and engineering and is an active promoter of STEM and diversity in engineering.
Founder of TBC Bank JSC, IDS Borjomi Georgia, Industrial Distribution Systems ZAO and Georgian Reconstruction & Development Co., Badri Japaridze is an entrepreneur who currently holded the position of Chairman-Supervisory Board of TBC Kredit LLC. Mr. Japaridze is also on the board of 6 other companies.
In his past career he was Member of Parliament of Georgia, Director at IDS Borjomi Georgia and Director at Industrial Distribution Systems ZAO.
He received an undergraduate degree from Tbilisi State University and a graduate degree from Moscow State University Lomonosov.
Nick Gvinadze is the Managing Partner of Gvinadze & Partners, a leading Georgian business law firm. With over two decades in busy private practice, he has accumulated abundant experience in the whole spectrum of both Georgian and cross-border commercial law, with particular focus on energy, infrastructure, tax and dispute resolution.
At present David is Treasury Manager of VTel Georgia. From 2007 to 2008 he was Finance Manager at BMI (British Midland International) in Georgia. During 2003 –2007 worked as Finance Manager at British Mediterranean Airways in Georgia. From 1998 to 2003 he was Finance & Administration Officer at British Airways Georgia. Mr. Amiran Adeishvili is an engineer, graduated from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, in 1996. Since 1967 he had been worked as a chief engineer in the Gardabani district.
Since 1985 Mr. Adeishvili had been launching company “Polymer 1“. He began to manufacture low-diameter polyethylene pipes. Since 2009, on his initiative, entire enterprise has been modernized, equipped with latest machinery. (more…)
