Round Table – Perspectives of cooperation with the new trade partners stemming from the current geopolitical situation

On March 16, EU-Georgia Business Council (EUGBC) organized a Round Table on “Perspectives for Cooperation with the new trade partners stemming from the current geopolitical situation”.

The partners of the event were the Georgian-Ukrainian Business Association and the Georgia-Romania Chamber of Commerce.
At the event, due to Russian aggression and war in Ukraine, issues related to diversification of Georgia’s export potential, as well as the need to strengthen cooperation with new trading partners were discussed. The event was attended by various business associations, representatives of the diplomatic mission and the private sector.
At the meeting, the EUGBC Secretary General informed participants that the EU-Georgia Business Council will coordinate cooperation between Georgian businesses and foreign diplomatic missions, exchange information and support implementation of projects between the partners. This platform will be another additional mechanism to replace the Russian market with new directions.
