Launching of the EUGBC new initiative “THE BLACK SEA PLATFORM”
On 1st of December, The EU-Georgia Business Council (EUGBC) organized the Annual Black Sea Conference with the support of the USAID Economic Governance Program.
During the conference EUGBC announced the establishment of the Black Sea Platform.
The platform is an initiative dedicated to promoting and strengthening cooperation among the Black Sea countries and other interested partner countries in economic direction.
The Black Sea Platform shall provide public-private consultations, support information exchange, facilitate new initiatives and promote joint economic projects.
The platform is a non-governmental-public initiative that will unite representatives of various non-governmental organizations, sector experts and government agencies of the relevant profile.
One of the main objectives of the “Black Sea Platform” is to increase engagement of all relevant stakeholders and promote the implementation of the EU “Economic and Investment Plan” (EIP) flagship initiatives.
