On February 27, 2021, EUGBC member companies took part at the Diaspora Economic Forum  organized by the International Organization for Migration (IOM), supported by the EU, under the patronage of the President of Georgia and in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic related restrictions, the event was conducted in an online format.

The Diaspora Economic Forum provided an opportunity for the Georgian diaspora representatives to receive comprehensive information on opportunities for SME Development and investments in Georgia, access to financing, available business development support programmes and services offered by State and non-state actors and networking with local businesses during and after the event.
