On 3 February 2014, EUGBC management attended a working lunch hosted by the Ambassador of Sweden to Georgia, H.E. Diana Janse at her residence in Tbilisi. On behalf of EUGBC Secretary General Ambassador Zviad Chumburidze, Executive Director Tamar Khuntsaria and Advisor Valerian Gvalia attended the meeting. Senior representatives of Swedish business operating in Georgia also took part in the meeting.

EUGBC Secretary General informed the Ambassador and the invited guests activities and projects of the Council. The state of the Association Agreement and the prospect of the EU-Georgia trade were also discussed. In addition, EUGBC and the representatives of the Swedish businesses envisaged the possibility of the Council membership.

It was agreed that EUGBC and the Embassy of Sweden will continue active dialogue and partnership.
