Caucasian Metals Terminal LLC (CMT) is located in Georgia, 3km east from the Poti Sea Port.

>CMT is an important employer in the region with currently 210 employees and provides a significant economic stimulus for the region.

>CMT operates under a 15 year exclusive financing and operations agreement providing IM with manifold logistics advantages to perform its long term supply agreements in- and outbound.

Untitledsd1CMT has 53‘000 square metees with a storage capacity of 100‘000 wmt, a handling capacity of 500,000 wmt/y and a throughput capacity of 1m wmt /y. The expansion that started in 2015, will increase under-roof warehouses from 4000 square meters to 10‘000 square meters with a target to come onstream mid of 2018. It will equally allow fast crane railcar discharge, a drive-through truck system with 4 exits with 3 truck and 2 railway scales and specialized storage for bulk, big bags and containers.

>CMT is a bonded warehouse for both bulk commodities and containers. It has equally rail-station status and benefits from two railtracks reaching into the terminal and connecting CMT to the national rail-tracksystem and the Seaport of Poti. Mid 2018 the third railway line with 2 portal cranes, conveyors and the new second warehouse will become operational.

>CMT is cooperating with Maersk, MSC, CMA as a container terminal for concentrates.

CMT is equipped with modern equipment including warehouses, under-roof cranes, open air cranes, excavators, front-end loaders, bob-cats, reach-stackers, locomotive. CMT equally has a plant on-site with crushing, milling, saving and drying equipment allowing it to have oversize and wet concentrates and minerals from regional mines.
