Visit of the Georgian Business Delegation to Germany

On June 14-15, 2016 EU-Georgia Business Council (EUGBC) supported by EUROCHAMBRES (the Association of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry) organized visit of the Georgian Business Delegation to Germany. The participating Georgian companies took part in the Georgia-Germany Business forum and Georgian Wine Expo&Economic Photo Exhibition. The Business Forum was attended H.E. Mr. Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia.

Site visits of the Georgian SME’s and B2B meetings were arranged as well. Note: EUROCHAMBRES has secured the extension of the East Invest 1 contract until August 2017. The main purpose was to install the SME Roadshow Facility to allow the companies (SMEs) from the Eastern Partnership region to explore business opportunities with the EU and also to promote the region with the European business community. The Facility has successfully supported the organisation of a business delegation visit from Georgia to Berlin (Germany). 15 Georgian companies from Agribusiness and Tourism sectors took part in the activity. We are happy to present the Catalogue of participating Georgian SMEs. The activity was organized in close cooperation with the Georgian Embassy to the Federal Republic of Germany, Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations of Germany and Eastern Europe Business Association of Germany.

EUGBC in close cooperation with EUROCHAMBRES organized visits of the Georgian Business Delegation to Austria (November 19, 2014), Slovakia (November 21, 2014), Belgium (April 27, 2015) and the Netherlands (November 24, 2015). Business Forums/EUGBC Expos during these activities were respectively inaugurated by that time Vice Premier and Minister of Economy Mr. Giorgi Kvirikashvili (Vienna); Deputy Minister of Economy Ms. Ketevan Bochorishvili (Bratislava); State Minister on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Mr. Davit Bakradze (Brussels) and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Gigi Gigiadze.
