Secretary General of EUGBC took part in Wardrop Strategic Dialogue 2016

 

Secretary General of EUGBC, Zviad Chumburidze took part in Economic and Commercial roundtable discussion within the scope of Wardrop Strategic Dialogue 2016 (the Georgian-UK bilateral political dialogue is upgraded to the level of strategic partnership and now called the Georgia-UK Wardrop Strategic Dialogue).

Roundtable was attended by high rank officials from both sides. Participants discussed several issues: economic development and policies, trade and investment between UK and Georgia and corresponding future plans.
In the frame of Wardrop Strategic Dialogue 2016, Sir Alan Duncan, Minister of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, Minister for Europe and Americas of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, visited Georgia. Sir Alan Duncan held a meeting with Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Acting Prime Minister of Georgia and discussed a new phase of UK-Georgia relations. During his visit, Sir Alan Duncan also held a meetings with President of Georgia,  Giorgi Margvelashvili and Foreign Minister, Mikheil Janelidze.  

The bilateral political dialogue – Wardrop Dialogue – founded in 2014, is dedicated to the discussions of British-Georgian bilateral, regional and multilateral co-operation in the spheres of policy, security, defence, economy, culture and education.
