Meeting with the Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia in the framework of the Public-Private Dialogue
On March 1, 2024, the EU-Georgia Business Council (EUGBC), within the framework of the USAID Economic Governance Program grant project, hosted the first public-private dialogue meeting of The Black Sea Platform, focused on Georgian Government’s transport and logistics policy.
The key speaker at the meeting was Guram Guramishvili, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development. During the meeting, the representative of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development made a presentation of “Georgia’s 2023-2030 National Transport and Logistics Strategy”, after which a discussion was held with the active participation of the private sector.
About 30 representatives of the EUGBC members and partners took part in the event.
USAID Economic Governance Program grant project – “Support to the Black Sea Platform Sustainability” – is aimed at the promotion of the sustainability of the Black Sea Platform established by the EUGBC, by improvement of its institutional model and efficiency, including through the development of the Black Sea interconnections.
