On 18 September 2014, EUGBC held a meeting with the new CEO of EUGBC Member, Bank “Republic” / Société Générale Group, Antoine Gabizon. Mr. Gabizon took after Christian Carmagnolle who leaves his position in the end of September to take new responsibilities in French Polynesia, acting as CEO of Bank of Polynesia, SG Group. At the meeting Secretary General, Zviad Chumburidze introduced the mission and activities of EUGBC to Mr. Gabizon. The partiesexchanged their views on the importance of European association process for Georgia. Mr. Gabizon stated that he will continue Bank Republic’s commitment to EUGBC. The meeting was attended by Executive Director Tamar Khuntsaria, Senior Adviser Valerian Gvalia, Project Manager Giorgi Kacharava. EUGBC Board and Network Committee members, Khatuna Murgulia (Statoil) and Nick Gvinadze (Gvinadze and Partners LLC) also attended the meeting.
