On May 16, 2024, the EU-Georgia Business Council (EUGBC), within the framework of The USAID Economic Governance Program grant project, hosted the second meeting of the Black Sea Platform Public-Private Dialogue, dedicated to the topic of international trade facilitation initiatives and projects.

Within the framework of the meeting, the representatives of the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia made a presentation, where they focused on the reforms under the Association Agreement with the European Union, which are aimed at simplifying international trade, including  those related to the program of the Authorized Economic Operator and the New Computerized Transit System.

Following the presentation, a discussion was held with the engagement of the private sector.

Over 30 representatives of EUGBC members and partner companies took part in the event.
