International Conference and the Business Forum – Economic Integration with the European Union – Prospects and Opportunities will be held in Tbilisi on 27-28 March 2014. The event is organized by the Office of the State Minister on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration and the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia. The aim of the conference is to raise awareness among governments and private sectors of the EU and the Eastern Partnership countries about Georgia’s economic policy, business environment and investment opportunities, increase visibility of successfully implemented reforms in the framework of the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area Agreement and share experience with partner countries regarding economic reforms and the economic integration with the EU. Business Forum as integral part of the conference will be held on March 28 aiming at facilitating of economic cooperation as well as business to business contacts among the EU and the Eastern Partnership countries. Representatives of government agencies and business community of the EU and the EaP, European Commission, International Financial Institutions, as well as Diplomatic corps accredited in Georgia and experts on European integration and international trade will participate in the event.
