On October 3, 2013, EUGBC Secretary General, Ambassador Zviad Chumburidze held a meeting with the Deputy Foreign Minister,Davit Jalagania. The Secretary General informed the Deputy Minister about the current activities and future plans of EUGBC. Mr. Chumburidze noted that close cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia and EUGBC is important as there are mutual interests and goals of supporting the development of Georgia’s economy as well as EU-Georgia relations.

At the meeting parties agreed to arrange the meeting of the Deputy Minister with the Members of EUGBC in near future. The subject of the meeting with the business community will be update on the issues related to non-recognition policy.

Mr. Jalagania also confirmed his attendance at the EUGBC reception to be held on October 15^th, 2013 at the newly opened office of the Council in Tbilisi.
