EUGBC meeting with the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Georgia, Alexandra Hall Hall

 

On 30 January 2014, EUGBC organized the members meeting with the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Georgia, Alexandra Hall Hall. The meeting took place at the Embassy of the UK in Tbilisi. The meeting was attended by EUGBC Secretary General Ambassador Zviad Chumburidze, Executive Director Tamar Khuntsaria. The First Vice Chairman of EUGBC Board,Badri Japaridze (TBC Bank), Vice Chairman, David Lee (Magticom) and other members of EUGBC took part in the meeting.

At the meeting the parties discussed the current state of the EU-Georgia, as well as UK-Georgia relations at the bilateral level. EUGBC Secretary General informed the Ambassador about the activities and projects of the Council and introduced to her EUGBC members.

Madam Ambassador spoke on the importance of the Association Agreement to be signed between EU and Georgia, and also discussed the prospects of trade and economic relations between the EU and the two countries in particular.

Ms. Hall showed keen interest towards one of the projects of EUGBC – Economic Photo Exhibition and offered assistance in carrying out the project in London in the end of the current year. The parties to the meeting agreed on a regular dialogue and continuous partnership.
