EU-supported ‘Georgia’s Responsible Business Awards Meliora 2022’ has taken a start!

Meliora – the most recognisable effort to promote and strengthen the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)commitment among businesses,

is now open to receive applications. With the support of the European Union (EU) and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS), Center for Strategic Research and Development of Georgia (CSRDG) annually introduces the CSR projects undertaken by companies operating in Georgia to the society and awards the bests among them.

Over 90 companies with more than 200 CSR projects participated in ‘Georgia’s Responsible Business Awards Meliora’. The competition aims to promote and strengthen the CSR commitment among businesses; attract attention to excellent examples of CSR projects; encourage and motivate companies to adopt the best practices and become the role models for others.


Companies are welcome to submit their CSR projects in the following categories:

  • Green Initiative
  • Responsible Employer
  • Responsibility in the Marketplace
  • Supporting Communities
  • Cross-sector Partnership
  • CSR Manager of the Year
  • Transparency and Accountability on CSR and Sustainability Issues – Implemented with the Partnership of Annual Report and Transparency Award (BARTA) 

The Grand prix will be awarded to:

  • Responsible Large Company of the Year
  • Responsible Small/Medium Size Company of the Year


Winner projects will be selected by an independent jury consisting of the leading Georgian and international experts, based on proper planning, consistency, efficiency, and sustainability of results. Applications will be received by 10th February, 2023. Awarding ceremony will take place in summer 2023.
