Dentons – Tbilisi office contributes to the Energy Investment Risk Assessment(EIRA)2019?

Lawyers from Dentons’ Tbilisi office – including Georgia Managing Partner Otar Kipshidze, Senior Counsel Ted Jonas, and Paralegal Mariam Malidze – contributed to the Georgia profile in the Energy Investment Risk Assessment 2019 (EIRA) issued by Energy Charter Secretariat.

EIRA is an annual publication, which evaluates specific policy, regulatory and legal risks relevant to investments in the energy sector of various countries, including Georgia. It assesses risks that can be mitigated by adjusting legal and regulatory frameworks, and is therefore a useful tool for policy makers looking to benchmark and improve their investment climate.

“Energy sector is particularly attractive for foreign investors in Georgia”, said Otar Kipshidze. “We are proud that Dentons was invited to contribute to such an important document for the country, for the second year in a row.”
