On May 22, the EU-Georgia Business Council organized a Georgia-Belgium Business Roundtable.

The main goal of the meeting was to facilitate deepening of trade and economic relations between the two countries, increase investment potential and support small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs).

At the roundtable strategic issues were discussed, among others:

– Prospects for bilateral cooperation in various sectors, including tourism, real estate and information and communication technologies (ICT);

– Effective use of Georgia’s transit and logistics potential for the EU market;

– Initiation of joint projects that will contribute to the sustainable development of the business sector.
