Business Conference in Tbilisi “European Companies in Georgia – Growing Trade and Investments”

 

EU-Georgia Business Council (EUGBC) held a Business Conference in Tbilisi “European Companies in Georgia – Growing Trade and Investments” On May 5, 2016. The conference is funded by the European Union. The Business Conference provided a platform for European businesses operating in Georgia and for the Georgian Government to discuss benefits, opportunities and key challenges resulting from the provisional application the EU-Georgia Association Agreement and Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement as of September 1, 2014.

David Bakradze, State Minister of Georgia on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration; Janos Herman Ambassador of the European Union to Georgia; David Jalagania, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Bruno Balvanera, Director for Caucasus, Moldova & Belarus of European Bank for Reconstruction and Development welcomed the participants.

The Conference was followed by EUGBC Economic Photo Exhibition and evening reception for participants at Funicular, where guest were able to attend Georgian Wine&Brandy Expo.
