Tbilisi-based EUGBC Board Members and Network Committee Members held an informal meeting in EUGBC new office
On September 18, 2013, Tbilisi-based EUGBC Board Members and EUGBC Network Committee Members held an informal meeting in EUGBC new office in Tbilisi. The meeting was attended by Vice-Chairman of the Board, Badri Japaridze (TBC Bank); Second Vice-Chairman of the Board, David Lee (MagtiCom); Member of the Network Committee, Christian Carmagnolle (Bank Republic); Member of the Board, David Loladze (Qatar Airways); Member of the Board; Nick Gvinadze (Gvinadze & Partners); Statoil’s business advisor, Khatuna Murgulia; Secretary General, Ambassador Zviad Chumburidze; and Executive Director, Tamar Khuntsaria.
EUGBC Secretary General, Ambassador Zviad Chumburidze welcomed guests and briefed them on the works and activities carried out up to date since the office registration in July 2013. The Secretary General also presented and discussed with the Board members the action plan for the EUGBC activities in September-December 2013.
During the meeting The Board members also discussed ways to attract new EUGBC members and the strategy to have in place in determining membership fees and categories. In addition, the meeting participants discussed a plan of regular meetings and dialogue of EUGBC members with the government officials, EU institutions and diplomatic corps both in Georgia and in Europe. Active operation of EUGBC’s DCFTA Working Group and Network Committee was also agreed.
The Board members also discussed and expressed views on other issues of importance pertaining both short and long-term strategy in building up better public image for the organization.
