EUGBC Regional Trade Seminar was Held in Kakheti
EU-Georgia Business Council (EUGBC), with the support of the European Union, has organized a regional seminar on “What Georgian Exporters Should Know to Access EU Market”. The seminar took place on July 31st from 14:00 to 17:00 at 77 Alazani Ave., Telavi. Goal of the seminar was to inform Georgian businessmen on specific issues regarding export to EU market and raise awareness on the following subjects:

European Economic Area;

Tariff and non-tariff barriers;

EU’s General Systems of Preferences (GSP+) for Georgia;

EU-Georgia potential Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement;

Online EU help-desk for the third country exporters;

Importance of food safety system and its role in export development.
Seminar was free and open to public and all interested companies and individuals were welcome to attend.
