EU-Georgia Business Council (EUGBC) in close cooperation with the Austrian Embassy in Georgia and Representative office of Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, organized a Georgia-Austria business round table on May19, 2017. The event was attended by around 50 Austrian and Georgian companies of relevant sectors. The meeting was opened by the Secretary General of the EU-Georgia Business Council, Zviad Chumburidze and the Ambassador of Austria to Georgia, H.E. Arad Benkö. EU-Georgia Business Council (EUGBC) held a Business Conference in Tbilisi “European Companies in Georgia – Growing Trade and Investments” On May 5, 2016. The conference is funded by the European Union. The Business Conference provided a platform for European businesses operating in Georgia and for the Georgian Government to discuss benefits, opportunities and key challenges resulting from the provisional application the EU-Georgia Association Agreement and Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement as of September 1, 2014.
