On February 17, 2025 EU-Georgia Business Council (EUGBC) organized a meeting between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Austria to Georgia, H.E. Robert Gerschner and representatives of the EUGBC member and partner companies.
The current developments and prospects for deepening economic cooperation between the two countries were discussed at the meeting.

Black Sea Ports and Logistics Exhibition and Conference will take place at the Paragraph Resort & Spa Shekvetili, Georgia from Tuesday, 11 March to Thursday, 13 March 2025.
Hosted by APM Terminals Poti, in collaboration with strategic partner, International Association “Trans-Caspian international transport route”, this event promises to be a hub of knowledge exchange and business networking opportunities.

On January 23rd, 2025, the annual Black Sea Platform Conference was convened by the EU-Georgia Business Council (EUGBC) with the support of the USAID Economic Governance Program.
The participants of the conference discussed the challenges and opportunities related to the effective functioning of the Middle Corridor. Specific projects and reforms that will facilitate trade with the EU via the Black Sea and strengthen interconnections were put under special focus.
Over 100 representatives from the diplomatic corps accredited to Georgia, business associations, the private sector and civil society organizations participated in the event.

On December 20th, 2024, at the initiative of the EU-Georgia Business Council (EUGBC), a roundtable discussion was held on the topic of the socio-economic effects of the political crisis.
Representatives of businesses, along with the civil society and the academic sector participated in the event.
The participants of the meeting expressed their positions on the current developments and discussed the short, medium and long-term consequences of the ongoing crisis. The discussion also touched upon the options for de-escalation of the situation.
The parties emphasized the importance of discussions in similar format and agreed to hold regular meetings.
