The signature of the Memorandum of Understanding between EUGBC and the Agricultural Cooperatives Development Agency (ACDA) took place at EUGBC office on October 30, 2014. ACDA was established in 2013 as a Legal Entity of Public Law with the aim to ensure the development of agricultural cooperatives, as well as implementation of respective state programmes. Through its support to cooperatives, the Agency aims at improving agricultural productivity and competitiveness, enhancing cost effectiveness of production and, as a result, fostering socio-economic development of rural areas.

The Memorandum will further strengthen professional ties between the two institutions.
