EUGBC has a new corporate member SILKNET. Founded in March 2010 on the basis of a privatized incumbent operator, JSC Silknet is one of the largest operators on the Georgian telecommunications market. Silknet offers consumers comprehensive telecommunications packages: Telephone, Internet, Television. As of July 2014, Silknet had a total subscriber base of approximately 450,000 households, including 228,219 internet subscribers and 93,738 IPTV subscribers. The company has 3,092 employees, including 1,919 in Tbilisi.
