EUGBC and its member company “Sarajishvili” took part in East Invest 2 Annual Partner Conference held in Yerevan, Armenia on 27 October 2016. Within the framework of the conference different success stories were presented by the project partners.

Giorgi Kacharava, Projects Director at EUGBC made a presentation on “Georgian SME Roadshows in EU Capitals”, while Alexander Sakandelidze, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer in JSC Sarajishvili held a presentation titled “Success Story of Trade with the EU.”
The annual conference brought together the East Invest II project partners (the EU and EaP) and offered them an insight into the state of play of the programme implementation and networking opportunities – enabling the members to prepare further cooperation projects, either within East Invest or outside. While offering a brief insight into the state of play of the programme implementation (via sharing of success stories by BSOs and SMEs involved), its main focus was to launch of a discussion and drafting of a number of (regional angle) recommendations from the business community to policy makers for the improvement of the business environment in the Eastern Partnership region.
