EUGBC Seminar – Telavi, Kakheti Region

The EU-Georgia Business council (EUGBC), in the framework of the project supported by the European Union, organized a seminar “Prospects of EU-Georgia Association Agreement/DCFTA”.

The Seminar was held on March 11, 2015 in Telavi Municipality (Kakheti Region).

The seminar was opened by EUGBC Secretary General Zviad Chumburidze, David Bakradze, State Minister of Georgia on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, Givi Metreveli, Deputy Governor of the State Attorney.

Lia Todua, Expert of the Center of Strategic Research and Development of Georgia delivered presentation on “Expected DCFTA-induced changes of the food hygiene and food labeling requirements in Georgia”.

Vazha Kadagidze, Head of Cooperatives Registration Service of Agricultural Cooperatives Development Agency delivered presentation on Agricultural Cooperatives Development Agency.

The participants of the seminar received EUGBC brochures and leaflets published with the support of the EU Delegation to Georgia covering the topics of AA/ DCFTA.
