EUGBC Secretary General met with Ambassador Philip Dimitrov, Head of EU Delegation to Georgia

On November 22, 2013, the EUGBC Secretary General, Ambassador Zviad Chumburidze met with the Ambassador Philip Dimitrov, Head of EU Delegation to Georgia. The meeting was attended by Boris Iarochevitch, Deputy Head of EU Delegation, Tamar Khunstaria, EUGBC Executive Director and Valerian Gvalia, Adviser to the Secretary General. During the meeting the Secretary Generalinformed the EU Delegation about new priorities and action plan of EUGBC set for the period of 2014-2017. EUGBC also suggested implementing short and long term projects such as “Expo 2014”, Business Conference in several European capitals, publications and seminars arranged on a regular basis in cooperation with the EU Delegation.

Ambassador Dimitrov informed that EU Delegation will organize several workshops on different topics related to DCFTA on regular basis. Involvement of EUGBC members in these events was highlighted.

The parties of the meeting stressed that Business Community has particular role in the approximation of EU-Georgia economic relations.
