On 14 February 2014, EUGBC hosted a meeting of Board and Network Committee members with the Ambassador Designate of Georgia to the Republic of Bulgaria, Zurab Beridze. EUGBC Secretary General, Ambassador Zviad Chumburidze chaired the meeting. He introduced Mr. Beridze to EUGBC members and asked the Ambassador Designate to share his views and plansrelated to his future service as senior Georgia diplomat in Bulgaria.

Mr. Beridze informed EUGBC members on the date of his departure and envisaged plans. He showed particular interest towards the opinions and needs of Georgian businesses with respect to Bulgarian market and potential for deepening export.
EUGBC members and Ambassador Designate agreed on further exchange of information and continuous partnership with Mr. Beridze in his capacity as an Ambassador of Georgia to the Republic of Bulgaria.
