EUGBC team welcomes its new corporate member – Batumi High Maritime Engineering School ANRI  LLC.
ANRI was set up in June, 2000 as “Maritime Training Centre”, Ltd. Since August, 2005 it was rename as “Maritime Training Centre ANRI”, 

Ltd  (“MTC ANRI”) and since August 2014 we called as Batumi High Maritime Engineering School ANRI, LLC (“BHMES ANRI”). Batumi High Maritime Engineering School ANRI, LLC (“BHMES ANRI”) includes Maritime Training Centre, Maritime College (Maritime High and Vocational Education) and Career Centre.

A subject of activity of  “BHMES ANRI” is educational work of Crewing affairs training of seafarers (as officers so ratings) according to the international Convention STCW and shipping companies’ requirements, study of persons working in maritime transport system. All the process of seafarers’ trainings carried out in compliance with international and national regulations and International Standard requirements.

We have Quality System Certificates ISO 9001:2008 and International certificate IQNET.  is a Member of the International Association Global MET-Global Maritime Education and Training, Full Member of IASST-International Association for Safety and Survival Training, Associate Member of BSAMI-Black Sea Association of Maritime Institutions, Associate Member of Member of PCAG – Private Colleges Association of Georgia and a Member of Ajara Logistics, Transport and Shippers Association.

All the process of seafarers’ trainings carried out in compliance with international and national regulations and International Standard requirements.

There are conducting convention and non-convention training courses at the training center.

There are attending courses more than 1000 seafarers per annum and they are not only Georgian seafarers. Our library count more than 8000 books.

ANRI’s training center equipped by all necessary simulators in accordance with National and International standards of training, retraining and certification of seafarers.

ANRI has the simulators of Navigation Bridge, Shore Based Fire Fighting, ARPA-RADAR, GMDSS, rescue boats, life crafts, Wall Wash Test, pool for search and rescue trainings etc. There is real Engine Room and model of the real ship in our training center.

Besides ANRI is owner of training vessel “ Capt. O.Chakhvadze”.

Since April 01,2010  based on  the Order No. 248 of the Minister of Education and Science our school was granted a license for High Maritime Education Work at following programs:

III stage of Vocational Education Program on the specialty of:

– Deck Seaman (AB)

– Engine Room Seaman (motorman)

Duartion is 1 school year.

High Education Program –Bachelor- on the specialty of marine sciences:

– sea navigation

– ship engineer

Duartion is 4 academic year.

Since September 2012 we have right to educate the foreign students at the

-PROFESSIONAL EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS at III-rd stage on the specialty of DECK SEAMAN (A-II/4)

-PROFESSIONAL EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS at III-rd stage on the specialty of ENGINE ROOM SEAMAN (A-III/4)

The duration is one academic year including 6 month onboard training (seagoing practice).

Career Centre first of all are established to provide sea going practice for our students.
