A meeting of the Council of Investors was held in the government administration
The executive director of the EUGBC, Giorgi Kacharava, participated in a meeting of the Council of Investors that was held in the government administration.
At the meeting of the Council, which was opened by the head of the government, the ambassador of the United Kingdom to Georgia, Mark Clayton, and the regional director of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in the Caucasus, Katarina Bjorlin Hansen, made a welcome speech.
At the meeting, the investment prospects of the country were discussed and ways of solving the existing challenges were discussed. The conversation touched on the current and planned large economic projects, on which the government’s economic team is working on the instructions of the Prime Minister.
The participants of the session discussed the issues of promoting international trade and stimulating the development of the renewable energy sector in Georgia.
Among the discussed issues was also the involvement of the Investors Council in the ongoing reforms on the way to the EU integration.
