NATO Secretary General visited Georgia
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg paid the two-day official visit to Georgia. Georgian Foreign Minister Tamar Beruchashvili and Georgia’s Permanent Representative to the North Atlantic Alliance Aleksandre Maisuradze welcomed Jens Stoltenberg at the Tbilisi international airport.
During his visit Mr. Jens Stoltenberg met with the representatives of the executive and legislative branches of the government, as well as representatives of the Georgian military unit who have been trained for the NATO’s Rapid Response Force.
On 27 August NATO Secretary General attended an inaugural ceremony of the NATO-Georgia Joint Training and Evaluation Center held at the site of the Krtsanisi Training Center.
During the official meetings a broad spectrum of issues related to Georgia’s integration with the NATO were discussed.
