On May 27, 2014, the EUGBC Secretary General, Ambassador Zviad Chumburidze and Giorgi Kekelidze, Director General of National Parliament Library of Georgia signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation between the EUGBC and National Parliament Library of Georgia. The signing ceremony took place at the EUGBC office in Tbilisi.

With the MoU EUGBC offered National Parliament Library of Georgia honorary membership in the Council. The document also defined the cooperation framework between  EUGBC and “National Parliament Library of Georgia” aimed at  promoting  Georgia’s integration  into the European Union and developing economic relations between the countries of the European Union and Georgia.
