Upon the decision of the Board of Directors of EU-Georgia Business Council (EUGBC), Ambassador Zviad Chumburidze has been appointed on the position of EUGBC Secretary General from 1st of June, 2013. Mr. Chumburidze has served in Georgian foreign office for about 23 year, since 1990.

On March 20, 2013 the EU released its annual Progress Report on Georgia – “Implementation of the European Neighbourhood Policy in Georgia Progress in 2012 and recommendations for action”.
